The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry is hosting free, voluntary, regulatory orientation meetings for the growing, cultivating, processing and transportation of industrial hemp in Louisiana. Anyone interesting in obtaining a license to produce, transport or process industrial hemp in Louisiana are encouraged to attend.
The orientation meetings will be held on Dec. 16, Dec. 17 and 18 with two sessions offered each day. Participants must register to attend as space is limited.
